GLAAD report reveals increased danger for LGBTQ community on Twitter.

Twitter has become a more dangerous platform for LGBTQ users due to a pullback and inconsistent enforcement of company policies addressing anti-LGBTQ online hate speech, according to a survey by LGBTQ+ rights organization GLAAD. The other four major social media platforms also received low scores on the Social Media Safety Index scorecard, with Facebook garnering a 61% and TikTok posting a 57% out of a possible 100%. GLAAD is calling on social media platforms to take responsibility for ineffective policies, products, and algorithms that create a dangerous environment for LGBTQ users.
