Utah's age verification law leads to Pornhub access block.

Pornhub and other adult sites owned by MindGeek are blocking access to users with Utah-based IP addresses due to a new age verification law that creates liability for porn sites that make their content available to people below the age of 18. The law requires users to upload their photo ID to verify their age, which Pornhub argues puts children and privacy at risk. The company is calling for policymakers to identify users by their device instead. State and federal lawmakers have also pushed for a minimum age for social media use.
