Texas Father and Son Both Killed by Lightning Strike

A six-year-old Texas boy, Grayson Boggs, died after being struck by lightning while walking home from school with his father, who was previously killed by the same lightning bolt weeks earlier. The lightning bolt struck on May 15 after a bus dropped Grayson and his brother off from school. Grayson had been fighting for his life for the last four weeks but was removed from his ventilator on Tuesday after doctors informed the family that his condition would not improve. The boy died on Friday. A GoFundMe page has been created to help with funeral expenses and has raised more than $87,000.
