Tragic Death of 1-Year-Old at Bronx Day Care Shocks Officials

A 1-year-old boy died at a Bronx day care, while three other children were hospitalized under unclear circumstances. Emergency workers responded to a 911 call and found the boy dead at the scene. Two other children were taken to Montefiore Medical Center and were in stable condition, while another child was taken to Bronx Health Care systems. The premises were tested for environmental hazards, but no evidence of carbon monoxide was found. An investigation is ongoing.
