Tragic Accident: Teen Fatally Struck by Truck After Exiting School Bus

A 15-year-old boy was fatally struck by a tractor-trailer after stepping off a school bus in Polk County, Texas. The school bus had stopped with its flashing red lights on and stop sign extended to offload a child when the tractor-trailer hit a car behind the bus and veered into the driveway where the victim was standing. The boy was pronounced dead at the scene, while the drivers of the car and truck were uninjured. The school district expressed condolences and will provide counseling for students.
