Michigan's Most Dangerous Intersections Revealed: Metro Detroit Takes the Lead

Michigan Auto Law has released its annual list of the most dangerous intersections in Michigan for 2022, based on Michigan State Police traffic crash data. The majority of the top 20 worst intersections are located in Metro Detroit, with only three outside of Southeast Michigan. Freeway on/off ramps and heavily traveled roads contribute to a higher number of accidents. The report highlights the need for improved road safety measures, particularly in older cloverleaf-designed ramps. The most dangerous intersections are listed for Detroit, Macomb County, Oakland County, Washtenaw County, and Wayne County.
