Navigating LA's New Metro Regional Connector and Its Delicious Destinations

The 1.9-mile Regional Connector in Los Angeles opens with three new stations, connecting five sets of tracks that reach downtown LA. The newly elongated A and E lines will run through downtown, making more direct trips into downtown and reducing the number of times riders will have to get out of one train and wait for another. Starting July 1, Metro is capping the amount riders have to spend on any given day or over the course of a week, and lowering the base fare for students while eliminating the extra charge to ride the J (Silver) line buses and Express Bus services.
