Epstein Allegations Linked to Interlochen Arts School in Investigation

Alumni of the Interlochen Center for the Arts report decades of sexual conduct by Jeffrey Epstein in a law-firm–led investigation into abuse at the Michigan school, detailing 70 accounts from 47 staff and faculty spanning the 1950s–2010s. Epstein, a 1967 camper and longtime donor, is tied to two alleged incidents, including one at a lodge that bore his name (later renamed Green Lake Lodge and demolished). Interlochen has provided names to local authorities, apologized, and said safety policies have since strengthened, while Epstein’s broader notoriety from federal materials has fueled ongoing scrutiny; Epstein died by suicide in 2019.
