Search expands for Cary woman missing off Grenada coast

Authorities in Grenada and international partners continue to search for Elizabeth “Liz” Waddell, a 44-year-old Cary, North Carolina woman who disappeared after entering the water at Grand Anse Beach on July 22. Surveillance footage shows her entering the water and swimming beneath a jetty; she was never seen leaving the water. The search—along the shore, underwater, and by air—has yielded no final conclusion.
