Cardinals set Week 7 tribute as Fitzgerald’s No. 11 joins the Ring of Honor

The Arizona Cardinals announced they will retire Larry Fitzgerald’s No. 11 jersey at halftime of Week 7 against the Denver Broncos at State Farm Stadium, the same day he’s inducted into the team’s Ring of Honor. Fitzgerald, who spent his 17-year NFL career in Arizona, compiled 1,432 receptions, 17,492 receiving yards and 121 touchdowns and became the latest Cardinal to have his number retired; no Cardinal has worn No. 11 since his 2020 retirement. Owner Michael Bidwill called Fitzgerald a “pro’s pro” and praised his impact on the organization and community as Fitzgerald joined the Pro Football Hall of Fame earlier this year.
