LaFleur Brothers Reach NFL Head Coach Milestone
TL;DR
Matt LaFleur says it’s surreal that both he and his younger brother Mike are NFL head coaches now that Mike has been hired by the Arizona Cardinals, joining Matt’s Packers tenure and making the LaFleurs the third brother duo to lead NFL teams. Mike previously coached as the Rams’ offensive coordinator, and their rise is celebrated as part of a growing football family connected to mentors like Robert Saleh, Sean McVay, Kyle Shanahan and Dan Quinn. The Cardinals and Packers won’t meet in the 2026 regular season, but the brothers’ dual ascent marks a notable milestone in NFL coaching.
