College baseball player injured by stray bullet during game in Texarkana park shooting

An 18-year-old baseball player for Texas A&M-Texarkana was hit by a stray bullet during a game against the University of Houston–Victoria. The bullet came from a shooting just west of the park, and one man has been arrested while police are searching for another involved in the shooting. The baseball player underwent surgery and is in stable condition. The game was called and declared a "no contest." Counseling services are available to players and students, and police also arrested three others for drug and firearm possession.
