Former UFC Fighter Anthony Smith Faces Three Felony Charges in Nebraska Domestic Incident

Former UFC fighter Anthony Smith was arrested in Nebraska on three felonies—attempted first-degree domestic assault, terroristic threats and first-degree false imprisonment—after an alleged July 2026 incident in Gretna in which he allegedly threatened to kill his wife, forced her into his vehicle, and attempted to strike her with the vehicle. He turned himself in on July 27, posted a $500,000 bond with a stay-away order, and has a court date scheduled for August 17 as the case proceeds.
