High-speed police chase ends at Mississippi State baseball field during Arkansas game.

A police chase ended outside Dudy Noble Field during a Mississippi State baseball game against Arkansas. Shane Fidler, 32, of Knoxville, Tennessee, stole a red vehicle from a Dollar General off campus and was being chased by police. Fidler attempted to flee after the car rammed into a bollard outside Dudy Noble Field but was caught and arrested. He is charged with grand larceny, failure to stop for officer signals, and suspicion of driving under the influence. Fidler is also wanted for a felony firearms charge in Indiana.
