Timberwolves Employee Charged with Stealing Executive's Hard Drive and Strategic Information

A former Minnesota Timberwolves employee, Somak Sarkar, has been charged with third-degree burglary for allegedly stealing and downloading sensitive information from an executive's hard drive, including employee and player contracts, strategic information, and personal data. The theft occurred after Sarkar was moved to a different role within the organization and subsequently fired. He claimed to have taken the hard drive to "put some stuff on it" and forgot to return it.
