Four Injured in Sacramento Park Shooting; Police Probe Campus Connection

Four people were wounded in a Sunday morning shooting at Granite Regional Park in eastern Sacramento. Three adult women were injured—two transported to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries and one treated at the scene—and a man with a gunshot wound was also taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after a nearby crash near Folsom Boulevard and State University Drive. Police have not yet determined a connection to earlier gunfire reported at nearby Sacramento State, and the investigation continues.
