Seattle’s Floating Pitch to Anchor World Cup Waterfront Fest

Seattle Sounders FC and OL Reign FC will turn Waterfront Park’s Pier 62 into a floating soccer venue for World Cup 2026, hosting fan events, cultural programming, watch parties and youth soccer as part of the Seattle Soccer Celebration powered by Lenovo. The barge-based pitch aims to be a global showcase and community investment, in partnership with the RAVE Foundation and Friends of Waterfront Park, with premium activations and an expected footprint of up to 100,000 fans across a 26-day window from June 11–July 6.
