Bregman, Happ deliver late in 10th to lift Cubs past Cardinals
TL;DR
The Cubs pulled out a 4-2 win in 10 innings over the Cardinals as Bregman doubled home Suzuki and Happ added an RBI double in the 10th, with Civale getting the save after Webb started the frame. It capped a 5-2 road trip, moved Chicago within 5.5 games of the NL Central-leading Brewers, and solidified the Cubs’ wild-card standing as they head to a series with the Yankees.
