Kings Trim Camp, Set for Preseason Debuts and Power-Play Overhaul
TL;DR
LA Kings trimmed their camp by 21 after Day 5, sending players back to juniors or loaning to the Ontario Reign as AHL camp opens; standout Liam Lefebvre earned a preseason look. The team has two exhibitions coming up—home vs. Utah Mammoth and a visit to Anaheim—while revamping the power play and special teams under the new staff. Corey Perry was out for personal reasons and Mats Zuccarello continued in a red non-contact jersey, inching toward full clearance, as new defensive pairings and Group A additions were assessed.
