Alabama Coaches Clear the Air on "Wrong Place at Wrong Time" Comment and High-Speed Chase Incident.

Alabama football coach Nick Saban denied that his comment about freshman defensive back Tony Mitchell being in the "wrong place at the wrong time" was directed at Crimson Tide basketball coach Nate Oats and his handling of star freshman Brandon Miller's connection to a fatal shooting. Oats also stated that he did not take Saban's comment that way and that he has a lot of respect for the football coach. Saban has a tendency to use his press conferences to make statements to his players, and whether his words were intended for Oats or not, a statement was made to the football team.
