Joey Bart's strong defense helped the San Francisco Giants secure a 7-4 victory against the New York Mets. Bart's perfect throw to second base cut a potential rally short in the third inning, and he made another strong throw to record the second out of an inning in the fourth. Giants' manager Gabe Kapler praised Bart's composure and called his performance "excellent." Logan Webb also made a couple of changes to his pitch grips, which helped him throw a season-high seven innings and strike out eight.
