Bryce Harper's Recovery Progresses, Possible Early Return for Phillies.

Bryce Harper threw out to 60 feet down the first-base line at Citizens Bank Park, marking his first time doing so since undergoing Tommy John surgery. He will be reevaluated by surgeon Neil ElAttrache in Los Angeles "sometime around May 1," according to manager Rob Thomson. Harper will return as the Phillies' designated hitter until he is cleared to throw, and could see time at first base. The Phillies do not plan to send him on a rehab assignment.
