Colorado's Deion Sanders to Miss Pac-12 Media Day for Foot Surgery and Blood Clot Treatment

Colorado coach Deion Sanders will miss Pac-12 media day due to a "routine, follow-up" foot procedure scheduled for Thursday. Sanders is expected to recover in time for fall camp. Defensive coordinator Charles Kelly will represent the school at media day, along with quarterback Shedeur Sanders and cornerback/receiver Travis Hunter. Sanders posted a video on Instagram explaining that he will have surgeries to remove a blood clot in his right leg and straighten two toes. He had previously undergone successful surgery to fix blood clots in his left leg.
