Giants Camp Day 6: Late TD taunt sparks penalty, while rookies shine

At the Giants’ sixth training-camp practice at The Greenbrier, a late-game drill ended with Jaxson Dart scrambling for a touchdown and taunting corner Greg Newsome, drawing a 15-yard taunting penalty that pushed the game-winning extra point back to 48 yards. Winners included Jarrod Gray for standout work in limited football experience, Colton Hood for two key plays (run stop and pass breakup), Ben Sauls who went 10 of 12 on kicks, and Jermaine Eluemunor for solid 1-on-1 blocking. Losers included Jameis Winston, who struggled again, rookie Sisi Mauigoa getting outmuscled in a rep, and JuJu Smith-Schuster missing practice with knee swelling; Malik Nabers appeared briefly before leaving. The team lined up additional Greenbrier practice sessions for the coming days.
