UFC president Dana White supports Jorge Masvidal's decision to retire after his fourth consecutive loss at UFC 287, saying that Masvidal has made a lot of money and has other things going on outside the octagon. Masvidal changed the trajectory of his career in 2019 with impressive wins, but couldn't capture the welterweight title in subsequent tries. White believes Masvidal maximized a moment with his flying-knee finish over Ben Askren, which set the record for the fastest knockout in UFC history at five seconds.
