Judge Activated by Yankees, Could Return Tuesday Versus Rockies

Aaron Judge was activated from the injured list and could return to the Yankees as soon as Tuesday against the Colorado Rockies after taking live batting practice Monday. The star slugger had been out since late May with a rib injury, and coach/manager Aaron Boone indicated they’ll see if he’s ready for action. Judge had been optimistic about his timeline and noted it took longer than hoped, but his comeback comes as the Yankees sit 2nd in the AL East and 8.5 games up in the wild-card race. Before the injury, he was hitting .248 with 17 homers, 38 RBIs, 43 runs and a .907 OPS in 59 games.
