Infielder-outfielder Jurickson Profar has agreed to a one-year deal with the Colorado Rockies worth $7.75 million plus incentives, pending a physical. Profar became a free agent after opting out of his contract with the San Diego Padres. He had a career year in 2021, playing as the Padres' starting left fielder and logging career highs in games played, plate appearances, and wins above replacement. The 29-year-old has had an up-and-down career since making his MLB debut at 19, but he brings versatility and experience to the Rockies.
