Miles leaves game with ankle tweak as Lynx beat Valkyries 77-66

Olivia Miles exited the Aug. 19 game against the Golden State Valkyries with an apparent ankle injury after rolling it defending; she finished with 20 points, seven assists and five rebounds before leaving and did not return. Lynx coach Cheryl Reeve said the team hasn’t evaluated the play yet and hopes she’s OK. Minnesota went on to win 77-66, helped by Kayla McBride and Napheesa Collier, while Miles limped to the locker room but remained in good spirits during a postgame Q&A.
