Muncy-Vargas collision sidelines Dodgers-Dbacks duo; both OK ahead of weekend

Max Muncy and Ildemaro Vargas collided at first base in the fifth inning, forcing both players to exit the Dodgers–Diamondbacks game. Muncy passed concussion protocol and said he’ll be all right after a nose cut and shortness of breath; Vargas sustained bruises but tests were negative.
