Nate Diaz Claims Self-Defense in Alleged Brawl Warrant.

Nate Diaz's representatives have responded to the arrest warrant issued for the UFC veteran after he was involved in an altercation outside a bar in New Orleans. Diaz's attorney claims that the incident was an act of self-defense against a trained fighter named Rodney Petersen who aggressively pursued him. Diaz is facing second-degree battery charges, which carry a potential penalty of up to eight years in prison and/or up to a $2,000 fine. Diaz is currently slated to face Jake Paul in a boxing match in Dallas on Aug. 5.
