NBA 2026 TV Schedule Expands Over-the-Air Reach and Prime Video Doubleheaders

The NBA announced its 2026 national TV plan, expanding over-the-air broadcasts to 90 games (up from 79) while keeping total nationally televised games at 247; notable shifts include no national games on Super Bowl Sunday, ABC/ESPN’s Christmas slate with five games simulcast across both networks, ABC adding four Saturday over-the-air games on Jan. 30 (first such nod outside Christmas), NBC’s 69 broadcast games led by a season-opening tripleheader and 'on the bench' productions, and Prime Video’s schedule featuring six weeks of Friday night doubleheaders, weekly primetime Thursday games starting Jan. 21, Saturday afternoon games beginning Feb. 6, and Europe games in January, with NBA TV airings yet to be announced.
