NBA Coaching Jobs Lack Security Amidst Mounting Changes

Miami Heat's Erik Spoelstra and Denver Nuggets' Michael Malone expressed their concern over the lack of job security for NBA coaches following the recent dismissals of Nick Nurse, Mike Budenholzer, and Monty Williams. Spoelstra and Malone are two of the four coaches who have spent at least eight years with their current team. At least five teams will have new coaches next season, and 12 of the NBA's 30 teams will open next season with a coach who has been in place for no more than one season.
