NBA defends controversial calls in Celtics-Heat Game 6.

The NBA has corrected two late officiating calls that benefitted the Heat in Game 6 of the Eastern Conference Finals, but defended the decision to add 0.9 seconds to the clock, which allowed the Celtics to win with a buzzer-beater. The league found that officials failed to catch a lane violation and neglected to call a foul against Miami. However, the NBA confirmed that officials were right to give Boston a full 3 seconds on its final possession, which ultimately allowed for Boston's game-winning tip-in. The Celtics will face the Heat in Game 7 on Monday night in Boston.
