Pitch clock controversy leads to Phillies manager ejection.

Phillies manager Rob Thomson was ejected during the sixth inning of their game against the Los Angeles Dodgers after arguing with plate umpire Roberto Ortiz, who apparently did not reset the pitch clock after Aaron Nola requested a new baseball. Under baseball's new pace-of-play rules, pitchers have 15 seconds to deliver a pitch with nobody on and 20 seconds if there is a baserunner.
