TL;DR

The San Francisco 49ers showed interest in signing wide receiver Amari Cooper before he joined the Raiders, driven by their need for experienced players due to injuries in their receiving corps. Cooper, a seasoned veteran with experience across multiple teams, was considered a valuable addition, but ultimately did not sign with the 49ers. The team is now exploring waiver wire options and monitoring player health to bolster their roster for the season.
