Red Sox's Tanner Houck hospitalized with facial injury after being hit by line drive.

Red Sox pitcher Tanner Houck was taken to the hospital and received stitches after being hit in the face by a line drive during a game against the Yankees. The liner had an exit velocity of 89.7 mph and left Houck bloodied. He was able to walk off the field under his own power but was holding a towel to his face to cover a large gash. Houck exited the game allowing one earned run, one walk, and four hits while striking out two batters in four innings pitched.
