Minnesota Timberwolves' Anthony Edwards was cited for assault after swinging a chair in frustration during the team's playoff loss to the Denver Nuggets. Edwards was cited with two misdemeanor counts of third-degree assault for allegedly hitting two women who were working at the game when he flung the folding chair in a circle while walking off the court to the locker room. Both employees were reported to have suffered injuries that were not serious. Edwards is summoned to appear in court on June 9 and could face up to 18 months in jail and a $1,000 fine if convicted.
