Twins upgrade bullpen by trading for A.J. Minter
TL;DR
The Minnesota Twins, acting as buyers at the MLB trade deadline, acquired left-handed reliever A.J. Minter from the New York Mets in exchange for prospects Billy Amick and Bruin Agbayani, hoping he becomes the bullpen's No. 1 lefty and pairs with Andrew Morris and Yoendrys Gómez to strengthen late-inning work after Anthony Banda's season-ending injury.
