Montreal ITT Duel: Reusser Defends, Vollering Opens the Challenge
TL;DR
Marlen Reusser enters the Montreal World Championships as the defending champion and favourite in the 39.2km elite women’s time trial, with Demi Vollering as the main challenger; the long course rewards power and consistency, and while Vollering is the top rival on form, a deep field including Elisa Longo Borghini and a rising group—Zoe Bäckstedt, Cédrine Kerbaol, Lotte Kopecky, Juliette Berthet and Kristen Faulkner—hints at a podium fight beyond the two favourites.
