Plaud launches AI Earbuds with onboard transcription and 4G edge processing

Plaud has announced the Plaud One Explorer Edition—AI-powered earbuds that record, transcribe, and summarize conversations. Each earbud has 16MB local storage (32MB total) and three mics (two-meter pickup); the charging case adds four mics, a five-meter range, 512MB storage, and up to 36 hours of battery. The case includes built-in 4G to upload and process conversations without a phone or Wi‑Fi. Plaud Intelligence powers transcription and summarization, and a Plaud Agent button integrates with Gmail, Google Calendar, Notion, and Slack. Preorders are $249.99, with shipping in Q4 2026 in selected markets (earlier September date corrected).
