Arrest Made in Stalking Case within Final Fantasy XIV Game

A 38-year-old man from Tokyo was arrested for stalking a 28-year-old woman within the online game Final Fantasy XIV. He allegedly sent threatening messages to the victim, both in-game and through social media platforms, and continued to follow her character even after being blocked. The man denies some of the charges but is in violation of Japan's Anti-Stalking Control Law. No updates on his sentence have been released.
