Burglars use tunneling to steal $500,000 worth of Apple products.

Burglars tunneled their way into a Seattle Apple store through the bathroom wall of an adjoining coffee supplies store and stole over $500,000 worth of iPhones, iPads, and Apple Watches. The crime was well-planned and occurred after hours, with police not being notified until the next day. The thieves managed to enter the tech store by digging a hole through an adjacent store's wall, and it's unclear if they were hiding out in the coffee shop restroom or initially broke in before cutting a hole into the Apple store. Retail theft in the US has grown to be one of the largest epidemics in the past few years, with several well-known chain stores sounding the alarm for help.
