Activision CEO Bobby Kotick has stated that Sony's recent behavior to thwart the Call of Duty maker's sale to Microsoft is "disappointing" but won't affect their long-term relationship. Kotick also referenced Sony's claim that Microsoft could release deliberately buggy versions of Call of Duty games on PlayStation consoles should it acquire Activision. The UK's Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) and Japan's competition regulator have cleared the proposed acquisition of Activision Blizzard by Microsoft.
