Amazon's Lord of the Rings MMO: Impact on Existing LOTR Online Game and Tolkien's Novels

Amazon Games' vice president, Christoph Hartmann, has said that the company's upcoming Lord of the Rings MMO will be "worlds apart" from the already existing Lord of the Rings Online in terms of technology available now. He expects fans to "move over" to Amazon's game, as the industry moves on and the other game is old. However, Standing Stone Games, the developer of Lord of the Rings Online, has assured its players that the game is "not going away."
