ASUS ROG Ally Handheld Console: A Genuine Steam Deck Competitor at $699.99?

BestBuy has leaked the pricing of ASUS's upcoming ROG Ally handheld gaming console which will be priced at $699.99 US for the 16 GB LPDDR5 and 512 GB NVMe M.2 SSD variant. The console will feature the newly announced AMD Ryzen Z1 series processors, delivering 50% higher performance than the Valve Steam Deck at 15W and 2x the uplift when running at its peak 35W performance mode. The ASUS ROG Ally can also support the ASUS XG Mobile external graphics card (eGPU), which offers NVIDIA graphics as high as the RTX 4090 family. The new console is expected to weigh 669g and feature a 7-inch 120Hz panel with a max resolution of 1080P FHD.
