Larian Studios, the developer of Baldur's Gate 3, has revealed statistics from the game's launch weekend, including the most popular player character classes and races. The most popular class is Paladin, followed by Sorcerer, Warlock, Rogue, and Bard. Halfelf is the most popular race, closely followed by Humans and Elves. The least popular races are Halflings and Githyanki. The majority of players choose to play as custom characters, with Gale being the most popular Origin character. Only 368 players finished the game entirely during the opening weekend, despite a peak concurrent player count of over 800,000. Other interesting stats include Scratch the dog being pet over 750,000 times and 65% of players making morally "good" decisions in Act 1's major questline.
