Adam Kiciński, chief strategy officer of the parent company, emphasized the studio's desire to grow "bigger and stronger" on its own. Despite industry giants like Sony and Xbox acquiring studios, CD Projekt Red is focused on expanding and strengthening its position. The company has been growing, having acquired The Molasses Flood in 2021 and opened new offices in 2022. However, The Molasses Flood faced layoffs in 2023. CD Projekt Red is currently working on a sequel to Cyberpunk 2077, a new Witcher trilogy, and other projects.
