"Dead Space Remake Directors Join Battlefield Franchise as Current Season of Battlefield 2042 Confirmed as Last"
TL;DR
Motive Studios is joining the Battlefield franchise while continuing development on its Iron Man game. The move comes after a rough patch for the Battlefield franchise, marked by the departure of two Creative Directors and the closure of EA's studio, Ridgeline Games. The next Battlefield game is expected to feature a free-to-play Battle Royale experience and a storyline involving NATO countries and a well-funded private military.
