Endar Spire Animatic Leak Signals Fresh KOTOR Remake Direction

An animatic from Aspyr’s canceled Knights of the Old Republic remake showing the Endar Spire sequence—featuring a voiced player character and companions Trask Ulgo and Carth Onasi—has surfaced via MP1st. The footage hints at a more cinematic, action-driven approach than the original turn-based RPG, including a ship-wide explosion, a gravity-restoring save by Trask, and a plan to reestablish communications and find Carth. The project is now being redeveloped by Saber Interactive (Mad Head Games) after Aspyr’s version collapsed, with Fate of the Old Republic at Arcanaut Studios also in development.
