Epic responds to Elden Ring animation scandal involving indie dev.

Developer Archangel Studios is removing assets purchased from the Epic Marketplace after being accused of using stolen animations from Elden Ring in its game Bleak Faith: Forsaken. The developer had contacted Epic for an investigation into the origins of the assets, but Epic responded that it was not in a position to independently verify such rights. Archangel Studios is now replacing the assets out of respect for the original artists and players, and hopes that proper vetting and review protocols will be put in place for verified assets on storefronts.
